He proudly served his country in the US Army Air Corps from 1943-1945. He was a lifetime member of the VFW# 8541. He retired from Western Union in 1983.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rena Hardin and father, Tulle Bostic Hardin and brother, Elmer Ted Hardin.
Bill is survived by former wife and friend, Peggy Vernon ; the mother of his children, Mary Sue Leach; daughter, Sherill Moczygemba; son, Glenn Hardin; son-in-law, Alvin Moczygemba; daughter-in-law, Janice Hardin; sisters, Grace Duryea and Ruth Ciccolini; grandsons, Sean Qualls and Wes Hardin; granddaughter, Megan Hardin; four great-grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.
