Al Lockamy kissed his wife goodnight and told her he'd see her in the morning, but instead, he is calling plays with Bear Bryant. Born William Everett Lockamy on October 5, 1948, he moved to San Antonio with his parents, William (Lock) and Marjorie Lockamy, and graduated from Marshall HS, where he was known as 'Alabama,' 'Bama,' then 'Big Al' and finally just Al, a rabid University of Alabama fan. His family roots were planted firmly in the state of Alabama, but his heart belonged to his wife Suzi and their two sons, Kyle and Cody. In addition to his wife and children, he leaves behind his mother Marjorie, his soon to be daughter-in-law, Jess and countless friends, cousins, golfing buddies, fishing partners, hunting adventurers and his two dogs, Josie and Nellie. He will be missed by all. Roll Tide Roll!
