

In the mid 60’s, William moved to San Antonio, Texas to attend St. Mary’s University, where he received his Bachelor's in Political Science. Shortly after, he served in the peace corps teaching local residents to raise pigs in Ecuador and Guatemala. This provided the basis for his future career as an international sales consultant focusing on Latin America for over 40 years. In retirement, his passion was spending time with his family, reading and enjoying walks.
William also loved to travel the world. He traveled within China, Europe, Central and South America. We will remember Him as a true fighter who beat the odds countless times with respects to his health. He will be dearly missed by all his friends and family.
He is preceded in passing by his parents and survived by his Wife; Rebeca Long, Daughter; Karina Rok, Sons: Oliver Long, Guillermo Long, David Rok, Grandchildren: Miranda Rok, Kaitlyn Rok, Nathan Sandoval and Sarah Sandoval, and Aunt of 105 years; Angela Long .
He would always say: Why do you look so beautiful???
