William served in World War II.
He was a Master Mason 32 degree and was a certified brother of the Scottish Rite.
William worked for H.B. Zachry for 20 plus years, and was a master gardener. William was a member of the St. Edward the Confessor Holy Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Vogel Massey; sons, Michael H. Massey, William D. Massey, Jr., and James D. Massey; grandsons, Donald W. Massey and Michael R. Massey; Michael Massey and Stephen Massey; granddaughter Jamey Mae Pealver and Roberta Robertson; sister, Hazel F. Rumby.
