I was a co-worker of Bill's in the late 80's at Clarke Checks. Bill was a great guy and I learned a lot from him. I am glad I had the opportunity to know him. God bless Bill and his family at this time of his passing.

So sorry to hear of "Billy's" leaving this world, but, I am sure his Maker needed him to be present for His Son's Birthday.

In working with Bill at World I came to appreciate his dry sense of humour. He's the only boss I know that I could say 'you're number one' to and he would know the true meaning and laugh. He use to tell me it was a good day when I gave him the salute. Bill you'll be missed and you'll always be remembered!

Bill was a good man, good friend, good co-worker and boss. I'll miss his good nature, great sense of humor and easy laugh. He brought a lot to all of us and I appreciate everything he did for me. He was truly one of the good guys.

Bill was always kind and always looking to help others. It was because of Bill my life changed as he encouraged me to apply at World Savings, and I was blessed to work with him for eleven years. My family's thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. We'll miss you but know that you are in a much better place now.

I worked for and with Bill at World Savings for nearly 15 years. Of all the people that I met during that time, Bill was one of my favorite people. Very smart, efficient as well as charming to a fault. He will definitely be missed.

I cherish the special times I spent with Bill at World Savings. He was a great leader and a true friend.

Glenn Edward and the rest of the family, I am very sorry for the loss of Billy. I remember spending several Christmas at your house when I was a little boy. All of you and Billy are part of my memories. I know there is not enough that I could say to ease all of your pain except Billy may have moved on from this world but will live on in all of you because of our memories. Bill was a dear friend, a gentleman and a fine man. My prayers go to him and his family. I will always remember his friendship and his gentle approach to business problems.

Bill was an amazing person. I was fortunate to have met and worked with him for many years at World Savings. He was very kind, incredibly smart, and always went out of his way to help others. He was a role model for how I wanted to be when I grew up. His calm and quiet demeanor and respect for everyone regardless of the situation motivated others to line up and sacrifice everything they could for him. Bill was an invaluable co-worker, an inspirational leader, and a remarkable person. I wish his family peace and hope they will be comforted by the many happy memories they have of Bill and knowing that he spread kindness and happiness to everyone he touched.

My deepest condolences to the Matthews family. Bill was a wonderful coworker and so much fun to work with. He always knew "the answers"! He will be greatly missed by all.
