Bill attended St. Mary's School of Law; a practicing attorney during most of his professional career. He had a distinguished legal career and was employed as Assistant City Attorney and Assistant District Attorney in San Antonio, as well as with the Texas Legislative Council in Austin. For a brief period, Bill also worked as a newspaper reporter and a school teacher.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles, and his beloved mother, Ella Fae Morris. William "Bill" Morris is survived by his sister Mary Kendall Troni; his nieces, Elisabeth Kendall Troni and Anne Caroline Troni and his nephew John Lawrence Troni.
