He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Trinette Noble; daughters, Patricia N. Johnson, Ellen Noble and Nancy N. Dany; sister, Elma Jean Henderson; grandchildren, Melissa Dany and Andrew Johnson.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances A. Noble.
Born in Kerens, Texas in 1921, Noble grew up in Midland, Texas.
After graduating from Midland High School, he attended the University of Texas.
A World War II veteran, Noble was a bombardier in the 483rd Bombardment Group over Italy. After the war, he returned to the University of Texas where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Texan in 1946-47 and obtained a Bachelor of Journalism degree.
Soon after graduation, Noble moved to San Antonio and enjoyed long career in life insurance and public relations, most recently with Hermann Sons.
He retired from the Air Force reserves as a Colonel.
For many years, he was also editor of the Church News for the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas.
