He was born on September 2, 1921 in Matagorda, Texas to Joseph Sidney Olivarri and Georgie Irene Stewart. Don graduated from Jefferson High School in 1940.
He was a member of Alzafar Shrine and the Frost Bank Quarter Century Club.
Don was preceded in death by his wife, Doris LaRue Olivarri; and daughter, Donna Kenney, infant grandson William D. Olivarri II.
He is survived by his children, Sharon McGlothlin, Terry Olivarri and wife Johanna; grandchildren, Kelley Jackson (Scott), Tracey Kling (Mike), Danna Kenney, Jeffery Olivarri (Alicia), and Corey Olivarri; great grandchildren, Kendall Jackson, John Jackson, Owen Kling, Lucas Olivarri and Benjamin Olivarri.
