A graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of '67, he gave 20 years of dedicated service to Cavender Oldsmobile as a mechanic. He was very active in his neighborhood in the subdivision of El Dorado, and loved gardening, landscaping, furniture refinishing, and home remodeling. He loved to build, and was a gifted carpenter. He was much admired and loved for his honesty, trustworthiness, and sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Aubrey Robertson, and his dachshund Chester who was his long-time companion. He is survived by his wife of 34 devoted years, Kathy A. Robertson; 2 daughters, Ronda Machen and her husband Rod, and Wendy Schroeder and her husband Ryan; 1 brother; 1 sister; his father- and mother-in-law, Leslie W. and Helen B. Tschoepe; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family, friends and neighbors.
