This is not good bye dear friend. This is just so long for now. You were such a gentleman and a gentle person. We enjoyed many conversations-a good laugh and a good cry. We of course talked of WWII. You listened to my stories of my Dad as as an American POW of the Germans in Poland and I listened to your life stories of tragedy and triumph. You were such an inspiring man! Thank you for making a friend of a woman 42! years younger than you and taking her seriously! I will keep enjoying your books over and over. I'm sorry I lost touch in the last years -all my fault. You have earned your rest...
