To the family of Bill I extend my deepest sympathy. Bill and I were stationed together at Health Services Command here in San Antonio where I had the opportunity to meet him. He was a fine Medical Officer and Physician and I know he will be greatly missed. Frank Moorhead, MD

Dedra: I worked with your father when he served at Brooke Army Medical Center in the 1970's. Since then, I've often said that he was the sanest of psychiatrists who I've come into contact with; and, one of the kindest as well. Please be assured that he will have a special spot in Heaven and will be remembered with fondness by those of us who were privileged to have known him.

I worked with DR. Shultheis for many years at the State Hospital. He bacame one of my best friends. He was always so supportive of Nurses. He was a wonderful person and a great physician. I will miss him.

Bill was an excellent supervisor at Munson Army Hospital in Leavenworth, KS who became a good friend. We will miss him.

Dear Dedra and Family, I was so very sorry to hear about your Dad's unexpectant passing. What an unbelieveable contribution he made in his 69 short but wonderful years on this Earth. I know he was blessed with a family that loved him and look forward to spending eternity with him and our Savior, Jesus Christ. I had the honor to work with Dr. Schultheis at Kerrville State Hospital; he as the Clinical Director and I as the Director of Medical Records. His leadership and character was a real inspiration to me. 
May God be with us who now mourn his loss; may we remember the joy of his life in this time of leave taking.

I will always remember him as the caring, compassionate person who took a genuine interest in every person he met. He was a dedicated physician who treated others as he would want to be treated.

It is with our deepest sympathy and the fondest and best of memories of Bill that we will always cherish. We will always remember the early days at Fort Hood and our first date with you and Bill as our companions at the Stagecoach Inn. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
