William Lester Starling, Jr., age 84, passed away on December 15, 2020. He was born on October 12, 1936 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a proud Navy veteran who served during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. William had many hobbies of which he was fond, including sewing, camping, cooking for everyone, poetry, wine making, telling stories, and woodworking. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
William was preceded in death by his parents, William, Sr. and Grace Esther Starling; his brother, Kenneth Charles Starling; and his previous wives, Bertha Louise and Joyce Adelle. He is survived by his wife, Annette Starling, his children, Bobbi Solts, Dale Starling, and Shannan Marie Hill; and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
