He was born in San Antonio on October 11, 1917, the youngest of seven children.
He graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1937 and was a driver for the Kerrville Bus Company for over 40 years, retiring in 1982.
Jarrell was a member of the Order of DeMolays before joining the Patterson Masonic Lodge in 1945.
He was a devoted husband and father and had a great love for his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Judy Smith and Vicky Vick; Judy's husband, Robert; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and special "Cousins" Bruce and Martha Yantis, E'Lane Boazeman, Mickey Tedford, Cricket Dresch, and Josephine Dresch.
