William M. Zehner was born in Dallas, TX January 9, 1943 and died of cancer in San Antonio, March 16, 2002. His childhood home was in Denison, TX where he attended St. Xavier's Catholic School and was an Eagle Scout. Bill went to the University of Texas for degrees in Accounting and law. His professional life was at Ernst & Ernst, a private law practice, and most recently CFO and general cousel for Kaleidoscope, a television cable network. he was a member of the state and local CPA and Bar associtions. Other memberships include First Baptist Church and the King William Association. He leaves behind to mourn him, his loving wife of 36 years, Carolene; and his adoring and adored daughter, Gretchen. His sister and brother and their spouses and families also survive him: Mary Ann Gouge and Robert Zehner. Bill's friends were many. All enjoyed his unique sense of humor. He was a kind and loving man, above all else.
