Wilma Adline Lueders Steubing

Wilma Adline Lueders Steubing, age 101, passed away February 1, 2014. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Lettie and William Lueders on November 11, 1912. She married her loving husband, Emanuel Arthur Steubing on January 30, 1932. Together they established and managed a successful Dairy Farm for many years located on Bandera Road near the intersection with Braun Road. She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Scarborough (Robert), granddaughter Jayne Martin (Victor), great-grandsons, Paul Reveley and Daniel Martin; sisters-in-law Bernice Steubing and Dorothy Wright and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband Emanuel Steubing and her brothers, Leo, Roy and Raymond Lueders and sister, Norma Donegan. Special thanks to the wonderful care provided by the staff of Odyssey Health Care. Visitation will begin on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road. The funeral service will take place at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church at 9944 Leslie Road at Braun and Loop 1604. Interment will follow at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Cemetery Fund or to charity of your choice.
