We are certainly going to miss Wilton. Dana and I both have fond memories of Wilton when he came to Sanderson for his annual West Texas mule deer hunt. He was always full of laughter and was always telling stories. But we will save his spot around the campfire and we will now be telling stories about Wilton. 'I knew I was in trouble the moment Mr. Steubing pronounced my last name correctly. The first thing he asked me was, "Abel", how are you related to Raymond Abel? After I answered, Raymond was my husband's Uncle, Mr. Steubing treated me as if we were old friends. He introduced me to his visitors as "ABEL". He made me feel like I was part of his family. In the short time I had the honor of caring for him, I grew as a nurse. 
It is patients like Mr. Stuebing that bring joy and happiness to my job.
