Winifred I. Copeland, age 85 of San Antonio, died on Friday, December 1, 2000. She was a long time volunteer of St. Lukes Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Copeland loved reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major James C. Copeland, USA ret. Survivors include daughters Anne R. Hoke and husband Eric and his children Ethan F. Hoke and Emma S. Hoke, and Jane K. Bach and husband George; grandsons, Aaron Michael Bach, David Matthew Bach and Adam Joseph Bach; and brother Bernard Grant McCoy and wife Vivian.
