She is survived by 2 siblings, Charles Jandreau and James Jandreau; 3 children, Alton Scott Newell Jr., John Robert Newell, Sharon Newell Shirley; 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; plus, a large extended family.
Together, with her late husband, over their 62 years of marriage, they built a large metal recycling business with locations throughout the United States. During her lifetime, she traveled widely, made friends easily and loved her family unconditionally.
She will be missed tremendously by all whose lives she touched.
