He was raised in Louisiana and despite growing up in poverty; he became a successful businessman in San Antonio in auto and mobile sales, as well as, real estate investments.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Delverne Vail.
Winifred is survived by his sons, Randy Vail and Steven Vail; grandchildren, Matthew Vail and Anna Vail; and many wonderful friends and neighbors.
