Winona Autry

Winona, or Maw Maw as most of her loved ones called her, is survived by her husband, Charles Lloyd Autry, Jr.; her children, Rynda (David) James Sligh, Randall (Suzy) James, Ronda James Weed, Melissa (Brandt) Autry Simar, John (Michelle) Autry; her 13 grandchildren; her 11 great grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family members. Preceding Winona in death are her parents Beakley and Ola Mae Mangum and her brother Nelson Mangum.

Winona graduated from Pettus High School before moving to San Antonio where she attended business school. Shortly thereafter, Winona married and started her family. Winona enjoyed so many things in life - listening to music, dancing, playing the piano, attending sporting events, sewing, and shopping. However, she was proudest of her family and supported each of them in their various endeavors.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm September 15, 2022 at Porter Loring North.
