
He was drafted into the Army for the Korean Conflict then later joined the US Air Force where he travelled the world and utilized his building and organizational skills.
Woodrow retired after 25 years of military service and worked in Civil service at the Naval Station in Corpus Christi. He met his wife there in 1992 and they moved to San Antonio in 1995. They attended Cornerstone Church even in his ill health.
He loved his family and was a very proud "Paw-Paw".
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bruce and Lula Harris and brother Joe Harris of Poplar Bluff, MO and great-granddaughter, Samantha Billings.
Woody is survived by his wife, Barbara Harris of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Rhonda Page and husband Jay of Floresville, TX; son, Ron Mills and wife Carolyn of Boerne; daughter, Karen Morris and husband Rev. Jim Morris of San Antonio; daughter, Paula Cole and husband Rev. Keith Cole of Waxahachie, TX.; sister, Shirley Gordon of Blytheville, AR; brother, Charles Harris of Dumas, AR; fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
