Xavier R. Maldonado, entered the loving arms of Our Lord on June 20th, 2024 at the age of 69 years old. Xavier was born in Falfurrias, Texas on May 31st 1955 to Lorenzo and Evangelina Maldonado. He was a colon cancer survivor and a double lung transplant recipient.
Xavier was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He had a generous spirit and a pleasant personality, which is why he was loved by many. He was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were The Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Astros, and The Texas Longhorns. He enjoyed working outside on his yard, doing puzzles, collecting clocks, and helping out his neighbors.
Xavier is proceeded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Evangelina Maldonado; his sisters Magdalena Maldonado, Margarita Rosas, and Oralia Arevalo; his brothers Lorenzo Maldonado and Flavio Maldonado. Xavier is survived by his wife Tina Maldonado of 47 years, his daughter Erica Maldonado (Robert), granddaughter Kristeen Rodriguez, his fur grandbabies K-Rod, Max, and Riley; his sisters Idalia Alaniz, Eudelia Aguirre, Armandina (Roger) Dominguez, and Yolanda Maldonado; his brothers Mario (Michelle) Maldonado, George (Rachel) Maldonado, Joel Maldonado, Samuel (Norma) Maldonado; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Xavier will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, open arms, and love and care for others. He left an everlasting mark on those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His love for his family and friends will forever be cherished through the memories we share.
