Yolanda Nieto Mosqueda

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Yolanda Nieto Mosqueda, of San Antonio, Texas. She was born October 26, 1949 and called to our Lord on May 5, 2022, at the age of 72. Yolanda Nieto Mosqueda had a way of showing her love to everyone. She could be blunt and honest while at the same time offering solace for those she loved. She was a determined and independent mother who devoted her time to raise loving children. She could always be counted on when family needed help. She had a passion for watching TV shows and all types of movies especially classic, horror and science fiction. She loved to cook and bake; she will always be known for her potato salad and chocolate cake with bananas inside. Although she was a vegan her last years; she could still throw down a good steak and BBQ. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her parents Angel and Dora Nieto; brother, Angel Nieto Jr.; sister, Patricia Nieto and grand-daughter, Katherine Beth.

She is survived by her children Jesus Jr. (Maria Isabel), Gabriel (Angela), Eugene, Jennifer (Jorge Cruz); grandchildren, Jessica Faith, Jeanette, Jamie Lyn, Gabriel Jr., Christopher, Hannah Katherine, Luke Alexander, Isabella Eve, Isaias Jorge and Amadeo Josiah; siblings, Mary Ventura (Joe), Susie Nieto, Dolores Menchaca (Anthony), Sylvia Apaez, Armando Nieto (Bertha), Cindy Vasquez ( Jerry), Diana Nieto (Michelle); great grand- daughter Zhavia Valentina as well as numerous family and friends. Yolanda will be missed dearly by everyone.

A visitation for Yolanda will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will occur Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A funeral mass will occur Friday, May 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 S. San Augustine Ave., San Antonio, TX 78237. An internment will occur Friday, May 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
