Yolanda Torres

Yolanda (Jolly) C. Torres of Port Huron, MI., went home to be with the Lord on July 08, 2011. She enjoyed life to the fullest and lit the lives of everyone that was around her. She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, golfing and making everyone smile. She will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Tomasa Castillo, sister Annie Velasquez. She is survived and remembered by her husband Ruben Torres, mother-in-law Theresa Torres, daughter Diana A. Castillo, son-in-law Patrick Castillo, sons Leonardo F. Coronado II, Reymundo R. Coronado, Marcos A. Coronado, step daughter Michelle (Jesse) Oliva, grandchildren Grace Castillo, Isaac Castillo, step grandchildren Megan Torres, Briana Oliva, Briseis Oliva, brothers Jesse(Eunice)Castillo, José Castillo, Antonio (Cindy) Castillo, sisters Margarita (Jose) Pena, Elda Vicencio, Porforia (Pete) Sanchez, Soila (Saulo) Hernandez, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins, brothers and sister-in-laws and was loved by all. The family would love to thank Dr. Daniel Juarez, Dr. Jesse Medellin, Dr. Drew Walsh and the nurses and staff at the Cancer Care Center and ICU Unit at Metropolitan Hospital. Visitation will begin Tuesday July 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
