Yrenio Puente Elizondo

Yrenio "Neno" Elizondo, passed away at the age of 78 years on Sunday, August 27, 2017. Neno was born in Kenedy, Texas July 3, 1939. Neno enjoyed his free time hunting, working on his yard and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Maria Z. Elizondo, his parents, Favian and Trinidad Elizondo, his son, Gabriel Elizondo. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Domingo Elizondo and baby sister Rosa E. Molbe. He is survived by his children, David Elizondo, Ida Lopez (Chris) and Abel Elizondo (Azalea), sisters: Antonia Aguirre, Pauline Boyle, Isabel Cortez (Hernan), Frances Guerrero (Oscar), Bertha Cuevas and Connie Gibson, grandchildren: Jacob, Desiree, Elizabeth, Cassandra, Kawika, and Nancy. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Palo Alto Road on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral service will be conducted at the Trevino Funeral Home Chapel of Prayer on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
