Yvonne Yvette Goodwyn

Yvonne Yvette Goodwyn (Howerton), born October 2, 1962 in San Antonio passed away on July 18, 2023. Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Rex Howerton Sr., father, Ernestine “Mitzie” Howerton, mother. Yvonne is survived by her three children, Raymond Paul Howerton (Katherine), Chanel Christine Goodwyn (Randy), Savannah Rene Gonzales (Frank); her grandchildren, Rianna Paige Howerton, Landyn Rex Howerton, MJ Howerton, Taylor Rae Howerton, Marly Rose Gonzales, Rex Ramon Gonzales; her siblings, Paul Rex Howerton Jr. (Corinna), Daphne Rene Rodriguez (Abraham), Stephanie Ann Alvarado (Chris), Phillip Roger Howerton (KC); her nieces and nephews, Joshua Paul Howerton (Amie), Megan Elizabeth Howerton (Shane), Ryan Tyler Rodriguez (Alexa), Breanna Nicole Frizzell (Bryce), her great nieces and nephews, Harleigh Louise Howerton, Christopher Ryan Rodriguez, Julian Ulysses Rodriguez, Mason Rex Frizzell, Madelyn Brielle Frizzell, and Royce Shane Thompson.

Anyone who knew Yvonne knew that she was a strong woman who loved her children and family deeply. Her love for the Dallas Cowboys was unmatched and tenacious. Her memory will live strong in that blue and white star.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM August 19, 2023 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd - San Antonio, TX 78238. We ask that guests wear blue or white to celebrate Yvonne and the love for her Dallas Cowboys.
