Yvonne Hernandez-Favila

Yvonne, lovingly known as “Bonnie,” was born on May 20, 1964, in San Antonio, Texas, to Feliberto and Emma Hernandez. She graduated from Alamo Heights High School and went on to build a life rooted in love and family. In 2011, she married Julian Favila, and together they made their home in San Antonio, where they lovingly raised their two daughters.

Bonnie is survived by her devoted husband, Julian Favila, and her cherished daughters, Armani and Mia. She is also survived by her father, Feliberto Hernandez, and her beloved brothers, Feliberto “Phil” Jr. and Jonas Hernandez, wife Melissa and their sons Jonas Cardo and Diego Luis. Bonnie’s memory will also be treasured by her many brothers and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Hernandez, as well as her grandparents, Luis and Micaela Bustamante, and Arturo and Maria Hernandez.

Bonnie was a devoted homemaker who found joy in cooking and caring for her beloved pets. Her warmth, generosity, and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on April 9, 2025, at 11:30 AM, followed by a service at 1 PM, and a burial at 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218.
