She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Johnson, Beryl Johnson, Jennifer Zambrano, her son William Johnson, seven grandchildren, and her sister, Elaine Armstrong Graveley. She was predeceased by her husband Edward V. Johnson, Jr. and her son Christopher Johnson.
Yvonne graduated from Mt. Holyoke College and received her Master's degree from the University of Nebraska. She spent many years as an Educational Diagnostician in the Northeast Independent School District.
She received support from CHRISTUS Hospice & Palliative Care San Antonio and Ann's Place when she needed it most. We are thankful for their compassionate care. Our mother did not wish to have a funeral or memorial service and her wishes are being honored. During her lifetime our mother was a strong supporter of our Veterans, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Salvation Army. She is at peace now.
