She was born on June 4, 1932 in Welch, AL, to John and Fannie Lou Johnston Moore and was a long-time resident of San Antonio. In her younger years she ran track, and played basketball in high school.
Yvonne was a homemaker and a loving and devoted mother who loved to shop and read. She also loved to fish, and was an excellent cook. She attended the First Assembly of God Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob J. Lemons, Sr. Survivors include 2 sons, Bob J. Lemons, Jr., and James H. Lemons and wife Sheila; a daughter, Michele Akers; 3 grandchildren, Beuford Leon Akers, Jr., Jason Kimbler, and Holly Lemons; a brother, John H. Moore; a sister, Colleen Lister; and a number of nieces and nephews.
