

Zara was a member of the St. George Maronite Catholic Church, lifetime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Altar Societies. She was also a lifetime member of the BeyAlef Club and a devoted volunteer of many organizations.
Zara was also a lifetime associate of Assumption Seminary. She was an avid Spurs fan, enjoyed playing Bunco and most of all cooking for her loving grandchildren.
Zara is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Louis Traber, children, Louis Jr., Fred and Madeline Traber; second husband, Albert Aboud; brothers, Frank and Bill Jowdy and sisters, Margaret Narcisco and Rose Day.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Fred Comparin, James Traber and his wife, Lindsay, and Anndeline Traber; brothers, John Jowdy and wife, Brenda of El Cajon, CA, Albert Jowdy and wife, Louise of Houston, TX; sisters, Virginia Pantuso and husband, Frank of San Antonio, TX, and Marianne Willis of San Antonio, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
