I was sad to hear of the passing of my Uncle Ramon. Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing him and only met him on a couple of occasions, my mother Sista spoke of her Acosta family often. She may have left Bay City but Bay City never left her. She loved her brothers and sisters and shared many of her beautiful memories with us and always with a smile and hearty laugh.  Her memories carried her though so many loney days.  She missed Uncle Ramon and all of the Acostas. Her stories made me happy and proud to be an Acosta. God bless his soul and prayers to my cousins and Aunt Nora for the difficult days ahead. May he rest in peace.

Tio Ramon's family well I didn't make it to visit although I have no regrets. I spoke about or to him at Tio Primos funeral. When I heard the news of your passing I immediately felt a chapter closed. And in itself was sad. The last surviving Acosta of 10, Tios Justo, Marta, Castelo, Marcus, Sylveria, Barbara (La La), Santos, Sista and Primo y sus padres await for you in the heavens. My Deepest Condolences to the Acosta Family for the loss of your Father. May he  Rest in Peace. I remember  Mr. Acosta from when he ran the Paint Store that my Dad visited daily.

So many, many lives were touched and influenced by this beautiful child of God.  I had and will continue to have admiration for Mr. Acosta.  If only more people were like him, what a wonderful world we would live in.  My most heart-felt condolences to his lovely family.
