Ana Lee Salsberry

Nanie was born on July 7, 1948 to Gregory Estrada Gutierrez and Rosemary Ponce Gutierrez in San Bernardino, CA. She graduated from Pacific High School in 1966.

After graduation she entered the workforce and through her jobs, was a member of the UFCW union, from which she essentially retired as an Albertson's employee in 2012.

Nanie married the love of her life, David R. Salsberry on April 22, 1972 and created a beautiful life together. They had four children: Martin, Cheri, Elaine and David.

Nanie was a vibrant woman. The simplest pleasures in life brought her joy. She lit up the room with her beautiful smile and her contagious laugh. She loved to exercise and made it a point to go to Zumba, Curves and had recently joined a boot camp.

She loved to be on the phone with family and friends, always checking in to make sure everyone was doing good. She was a camp host at Carpinteria State Beach for many years. It was her favorite time of the year as this is when friends and family would come to make countless memories with her. Nanie loved to travel. She was always on the move!

Nanie had 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and is preceded in life by her husband, David Salsberry, her parents Gregory and Rosemary Gutierrez and her granddaughter Alexcia.
