She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Colton since 1981. She retired from the railroad in July of 1981. Survivors included Brother Henry Adame of Rialto, 4 sisters Neomi Vert of Tacoma, Washington; Jenny Moyeda; Rachel Martinez and Helen Ortega of San Berardino; niece Stella Romero and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, her cat Tommy, her companion of 18 years. A very special thank you to her neighbor Donna for always being there for her.
