

Chauncey Robert Ferguson was born in Great Falls, Montana October 1, 1931, where he attended school then he attended 2 years of College in Montana. In High School he met his Wife of 65 years, Mary, they had 3 Sons together. He joined the U.S. National Guard, Air Force and moved to San Bernardino in 1957 where he worked for the U.S. Postal Service at the main branch for approximately 10 years. He then built and operated a family business in Highland for approximately 12 years, Fergie’s Wee Golf Arcade and Batting Cages (1st ones east of Anaheim). This was the “cool” place to go and provided jobs for many of the local teenagers. He and his Wife later became property managers in San Diego County and Northern California. In 1999 he moved to Mentone. He loved to bowl, play pool, play cards, play board games, work on puzzles, freshwater fish and just hang-out with Family. He died of Cancer on August 14, 2016 at his home in Mentone, leaving behind his Wife Mary, Sons and their Wives; Robert & Diane, Rick & Kellie, Todd & Jackie, 5 Grandchildren; Jennifer Loftin, Holly, Brady, Alexis and Sean Ferguson and 3 Great Grandchildren; Bailey and Cody Loftin and Ella Ferguson. Funeral Services are August 26, 2016 at 1pm and will be at Mt. View Mortuary and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to Kaiser Hospice Services.
