Hello,

My name is Derek and I got to know Cam very well while he was in Montana. We met each other through basketball from playing in small town tournaments together. I became close and stayed in touch with him as i was trying to also get him recruited for basketball at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT. Anyways, i was thinking about him today and i found a way to send a quick message wanting you all to know how much i appreciated him as a friend.  I hope his family is doing well.

It’s been 5 years boss. It’s crazy I don’t think I have fully accepted it yet. Since day one in great falls you were always like a brother. You always new my door was open for you. I remember I didn’t want to do anything on my 21st you just posted up with me at the villas because you didn’t want me alone on my birthday. That’s the kind of person you were. Sorry I didn’t go to anything after. Grieving isn’t easy for me. Always love you bro hope your family is well and you are at peace. 

Happy birthday big dawg, I love and miss you everyday , I see you in my dreams and wish for nothing but to bring you back just hear that laugh and see that smile. I know your looking down on all of us with your blessings, continue to look out for mama, and the rest as you would normally. One day we’ll reunite again. Love you bro

Couldn't believe when I got the message from Angie. Still in shock but nothing compared to the hurt she must be feeling. Cameron we were this close to having your dreams come true. Rest well, young king.

I can not place words with my emotions.  I can proudly say I seen Cameron (Boots) grow from a little boy to a grown man. Thank you for entering into my life and giving me all those beautiful memories. You will forever remain in my thoughts, prays and my heart.
