Small in structure but large in life, Carol will always stand tall in our lives. She was a woman who was smart & sharp as a whip but sweet enough to be recalled by all that knew her as “such a sweet lady”.
A kind & gentle soul with a smile that always warmed your heart & had you smiling in return.
Born in San Diego & residing most of her life in San Bernardino County, Carol was a life long California resident. She raised a family of four children spending the early years in San Bernardino before relocating to Lake Arrowhead in the early 70’s. There she came to know, love & call the mountain her home.
Carol worked for the County of San Bernardino in various capacities & retired there in 1995. She was also actively involved in many groups including the Masons, Hi Twelve, and Golden Slipper.
Carol spent many years traveling across the country & beyond with her faithful & loving companion/husband of 35+ years Ray. The places they saw & the experiences they lived were most assuredly spectacular and fulfilling. They loved to travel & will always be remembered as smiling when we picture them in their motor home exploring. The experiences, memories, pictures & videos amazing.
Carol had so much love & appreciation for all we are given in this life. Notably, without a doubt, the most important thing in all of this world, would be the family that she loved & cherished. Whether by blood or by circumstance, family will always be family.
Carol is survived by 10 children, 24 grandchildren & 33 great grandchildren not to mention the countless hearts of all the people she has touched.
Thank you Mom for making us all who we are today. The incredibly wonderful imprint you have made on us all prompts an awesome filled sigh. We will miss you & cherish you always “Sweet Caroline”
Smiling back up as you lovingly watch over us all....
We love you Mom
