Born on August 27, 1945 in Gunnison, Colorado to Charles and Florence Sanches. She was a woman of grace, resilience and joy.
She is survived by her children:
Michelle Gomez (Albert), Eric Messick, Stephen Barber (Rosalyn) and her seven Grandchildren and one great Grandchild.
Carrie lived her Catholic faith and was a Parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, San Bernardino, California.
Carrie found happiness in the company of her family. Always ready for a visit, gatherings, holidays and family events.
After retiring she enjoyed reading books, embroidering, sewing and spending time with family and friends.
Her love of faith, family and community defined a life well lived.
She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
A funeral service for Carrie will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. View Mortuary and Cemetery, 570 East Highland Avenue, San Bernardino, California 92404.
