its been 2 months since youve been gone... not a day goes by that you arent in our thoughts...

 its still so hard for me to accept the fact that you are gone. I miss you so much. I never would have imagined that this would happen. I thought I would always have my dad around. I miss all the little things you used to do. your jokes , your laugh, you telling me to give you something that was already close to you , even you eating all my chips. you were such an amazing dad and a great man who was loved by so many people. I can still hear your voice , see your smile. I just wish that I could feel your hugs again. I know that you would be so proud of your monkeys. everything we did was for you dad. I know you would have loved everything about it. I am so proud to call you my dad. you taught us so much and gave us so much love. I am grateful for the time and memories that I shared with you and its something I will always cherish. I will always be your juicey. nothing will ever change that. I love you dad with all my heart and will continue missing you everyday that passes. until I get to see you again.

It didn't hit me until I read these amazing tributes to your life, that you are gone. You were a big part of my life when I was married to Teresa. You showed me a lot about life. You showed me how to fix cars (even though it didn't stick) you guided me as a mentor and the older brother I never had. I learned so much from you about everything. There are many memories we share together but two of my fondest are sports related (of course) One was when we went together to the Padres game and were on ESPN that night and the other was when you took me to Stargazers Raiders bar in Chula Vista during a Broncos game. I thought I had walked into the black hole in Oakland! But you took care of me and told me that you wouldn't let anything happen to me. You were always that way. You were family, friend, my older brother. I will miss you dearly. May God bless Cecelia, Mogee and Celina and help them find peace in this period of loss. You will be there as their angel and there is some solace in that. Until we meet again brother. I love you.
