Claude W. "Pete" Peters, Lt. Colonel Air Force (Ret.). 92, passed away on April 11,2012 at home. Born in New York City on April 22, 1919, he moved to San Bernardino in 1963 when stationed at Norton AFB. Claude retired from the Air Force in 1971, then went to work for Logicon from which he retired in 1986. He lost his wife of 64 years, Loretta in June 2003. He moved to Highland in 2005 and was lucky to find love again, he married Lois Glazier in July 2006. His greatest joys in life were his family and golf. Claude leaves behind his wife Lois and her devoted family, daughter Susan and husband James, 3 grandsons, Douglas(Debbie), Jeffrey(Kelli), Michael(Vicky), 3 great grand-daughters, Corinne, Keeley, Kendall, and great grandson, Jacek. He also leaves behind his caretaker Hetty Maukar. Visitation will be 4/23/12 from 5-8 at Mt. View Mortuary and Services will be held 4/24/12 at 10am at Mt. View Cemetery, San Bernardino. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations are made to the Salvation Army.
