You are a true and good man Cory and I have always looked to you. There was so much it wanted to talk to you about. There are not a lot of people out there like you anymore and it was a privilege to have you in this life.

We built so many great memories over the last 20 years. I am having a really hard time accepting this is real. I will never forget the laughs we shared and I am so sorry we can't laugh together anymore. You will forever be in my thoughts.

This candle is a representation of a young life taken much too early. It also represents a 'lit path' for Cory's little boy, who was daddy's heart & soul, to have his life path illuminated with Cory's spirit and protection. It also represents prayer for peace in Tommy's heart, reminding him always of his daddy's love for him!

We marched the same years but didn't know eachother, but that didn't matter. You are part of our family at RCC and when a Tiger has fallen we all mourn. Rest in peace and march on.

On behalf of all of your 'family' over at RCC, I want to say: "You'll Never Walk Alone." Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay around for a while, leaving footprints on our hearts. That's exactly what Cory did and he'll never be forgotten by his fellow Tigers. RIP, my former student. You are now amongst a lot of fallen Tigers, so I'm sure you'll have a helluva' jam session.

Cory, although it's been a while since our PC days, I remember our time together fondly. I wish you peace. You will be missed!

Cory you were part of my PC family and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to march with you. No matter what the situation was you had a way of bringing out the best in everyone around you. Your laugh was infectious and will be greatly missed.

Cory I've thought about our association and connection quite a bit since we lost you this past week. You were the definition of a good man and a GREAT friend. I had the privilege of being your instructor in your age out years for drum corps and indoor percussion. I'm honored that I was given the opportunity to be there at some of the high points of your marching career. And I couldn't be more proud than I was watching you move on and pass your talents and influence on to so many groups..... You always did have such an infectious personality and that shone through every single time I saw you. I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to see you one more time this past April. It was a short visit, but filled with laughs as always. I'll miss bumping into you in random lots as always brother.... Thanks for your friendship bro
