Pat, it was a honor for me to work with both of you. Dan was a special person who I, and everyone he interacted with, came to respect him for his personality, skills and his friendship. I became a better person having known him.

Thank you everyone for sharing your great memories, kind words and prayers. We're blessed to think back on wonderful times with Dad from his teaching us to ride mini-bikes & then motorcycles to sharing his vast love of learning. You never knew what Dad would share next from oceanography, astronomy, geology, exceptional business practices, the latest inventions or research breakthroughs, what he learned as he & Pat traveled in the RV, or observations of the birds migrating through his own back yard. Along with his love of learning, Dad instilled his very strong work ethic in all of us. Both have served us all well.
Dad took me on an amazing, adventurous motorcycle trip half-way across the country when I was 15. Then a few years ago, we met in Oklahoma where he was born & raised. He shared our family history & stories like only Dad could. Laughed until my sides ached. These are some of the priceless, treasured times. Dad, You gave us so many sweet memories to cherish. Thank you. You will always be in our hearts & you will be a part of all I do. I love you, Dad! ~Belinda aka “Sis.” We love you Grandpa! ~Andrea, Melissa & Josh

Having the chance to meet Danny and being able to create memories was a true blessing. The trust he had in me to take care of his home when he and Pat would go on their trips made me feel so honored. The best part of it was having him come back home and tell me the whole story of his trip and all the wonderful things he saw. I loved the stories he'd tell me either about the weather, the road trip or the scenery. He would always have this big smile on his face every time I saw him. Danny loved to do things around the house and especially work on his motor home. He took pride in everything he did and I looked up to him for doing so. Being able to have Danny as a neighbor was a true blessing words can't describe it. I'm going to miss having him stop on by asking if I'd be home on their next road trip but I'll be here as long as you need me Mr. and Mrs. Sadler. Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

I met Danny at the prime of his career at Hansen Mechanical. He was a true professional who did things right, but always had fun doing it. It was never dull with him around. He loved his family, work and friends and you always knew it. In fact, you always knew where he stood on everything. No guessing with this straight forward guy. He and his infectious laugh will be greatly missed. John Oliver, Redlands, CA
