Although Deion’s illness made him appear fragile, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. Even though Deion was limited, he could spend hours playing with his favorite toy, which brought him comfort and happiness to his everyday life.
His gentle smile and infectious laugh could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. He is truly our angel that was sent to teach us so many valuable life lessons that will forever be instilled in our hearts.
