Delilah was diagnosed with Heterotaxy Syndrome and left Ventricle Pulmonary when I was four months pregnant. Heterotaxy Syndrome is a rare birth defect that involves the heart and other organs; Organs such as the stomach, intestines, liver and lungs. Delilah's lungs were not in good condition when born, she needed help to breathe on her own and this is what affected her the most. She was born on November 16, 2016 at 6:12pm, 7 lbs. 6oz, 19in long. Delilah was strong and brave, she never gave up. Doctors stated that she would only live for 5 hours and our little fighter lived for 2 days. Delilah passed early morning of November 19, 2016 at 4:00am in the arms of her parents. Delilah is gone but forever will be in the hearts of many.
