Elsie Mary Walters, Age 93, of San Bernardino, California, passed away on June 28, 2016. She was born in Cicero, Illinois on August 27, 1922. She graduated from Proviso High School. Elsie married Robert Lowell Walters on September 28, 1943. Elsie worked as a Special Education Teacher’s Aide at Anderson School in the San Bernardino City Unified School District. She was a member of the Classified Employees of San Bernardino City USD, St. Anthony’s Catholic Church; and Good Sam RV Club. Elsie had a passion for cooking, camping, teaching, serving and loving her family and Savior. Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Bob Walters, daughter Janet Moore, and sons Jim Walters and Rob Walters, grandchildren Alan Walters, Joshua Walters, and Jenawa Walters. Services for Elsie will be held on July 11, 2016 at Mountain View Mortuary, 570 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino, 92404. Viewing will be held from 9-11; memorial at 11:00 a.m. and a reception immediately following.
