OBITUARY
Emilia Eunice Hernandez
November 4, 1938 – November 6, 2012
Emilia Eunice Hernandez, 74, went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of San Bernardino. She worked at Norton Air Force Base for 35 years as a Contract Specialist. She was a member (and longtime pianist) at Judson Baptist Church. She also volunteered at St. Bernardine's Medical Center for 11 years.
She is survived by her son Tim Garcia and grandson Joseph Garcia, along with step children Debbie Boyd and Tony Hernandez. Also surviving her are her sisters Judy Lerma and Esther Garcia. Emilia also leaves nephews Ricky Lerma and Niece Yvonne Cruz, great nephews Stevie, Joshua and Andrew Lerma and great nieces Nadia and Hanna Cruz.
Emilia is also is survived by great-great nephews Donnie and Keoni Lerma and great-great nieces Sara, Joycee and Dalhia Lerma. She will be missed by the Vasquez and Vines families in Chicago, and the Segura and Perez families in Florida. In addition, she leaves sister-in-law Connie Munguia and family and Francie and Robert Hernandez and families.
The family is grateful for her dear friends Dolores Wallack and Cynthia Thornberg for the loving care they provided Emilia.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012, 5-7 p.m. at Mt. View Mortuary, 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. The memorial service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012, 12 noon at Judson Baptist Church, 1406 Pacific Avenue, San Bernardino.
Interment will be held Friday, November 16, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Ave., Riverside, CA 92518, staging area #5.

It was a pleasure to work with Eunice at Norton AFB. She was a special lady. Her door was always open and we had so many interesting discussons. She was an excellent teacher. We also enjoyed our talks about our dogs and forthcoming trips. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Eunice and I worked together for many years in contracts at Norton AFB...we had lots of fun together and I learned a lot from her. She was smart, talented, and a very giving person. My condolences to her family.
