Francisco Vaca Toro, born on April 19, 1949, in Tamazula, Jalisco, Mexico, to Jose Vaca Sanchez and Maria Del Toro Vargas, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2024, leaving behind a profound legacy of love and dedication.
Francisco was a man of many talents who excelled both professionally and personally. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly in various roles, including as a dishwasher, cook, construction worker, and farmer. His work ethic was unmatched; he approached every task with pride and determination, always striving to provide for his family with unwavering commitment. Francisco's life was defined by his deep love for people and his passion for helping others. Whether lending a hand to a neighbor or offering support to his loved ones, his generosity and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Eduardo Vaca Jr., his brothers Delfino Vaca and Taneli Vaca, and his son, Jose Luis Ruiz Vaca.
Francisco is survived by his beloved wife, Irene Ruiz Vaca, and his children: Juan and Monique Vaca of Highland, CA, Javier and Gloria Vaca of Yucaipa, CA, Anna and Rudy Elias of San Bernardino, CA, Eduardo and Heidi Vaca of Garden City, KS, and Sylvia and Richard Maquinales of San Bernardino, CA. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Laura Diaz, Julia Adrian, Katie Adrian, Jonathan Jose Anaya, Brianna Anaya, Allyssa Vaca, Alexis Gloria, Lexie Vaca Rodriguez, Vanessa Vaca, Armani Silberzahn, Anaveah Vaca, Solie Vaca, Lilly Vaca, Christian Vaca, Briseis Vaca, and Jazlynn Vaca. His great-grandchildren, Rosie Diaz, Ezekiel Tapia, and Cameron Levea, brought him immense joy.
Francisco also leaves behind his brothers Ricardo Vaca, Andres Vaca, Salvador Vaca, Jose Luis Vaca, and Rafael Vaca, as well as his sisters, Eveilia Godinez, Estella Vaca, and Sagrario Vaca.
Francisco Vaca Toro was a man of strong values and unwavering love. He devoted his life to his family, providing them with strength, guidance, and unconditional love. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A visitation for Francisco will be held Monday, September 9, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery.
