Gary Ray DeLeon

56, was born in San Bernardino on December 31, 1955 to Mary Ellen and Ramon DeLeon, He passed away on Thursday July 26, 2012. He was a life long resident of San Bernardino. He worked for Verizon for 33 years and was also an avid Golfer with M.A.G.A. for over 30 years. He met his wife Sylvia and married her September 20, 1980. They resided in San Bernardino with the three daughters they raised. He retired from Verizon in 2011.

He is survived by his wife of over 31 years, Sylvia, his three daughters; Jessica, Angela, and Nina all of San Bernardino, his grandchildren; Annette Olalde and Matthew Elguezabal both of San Bernardino. He is also survived by his mother; Mary Ellen DeLeon of San Bernardino, Three sisters; Diane Figueroa of Corona, Margo and Tanya DeLeon both of San Bernardino, two brothers; Darren DeLeon of Oakland, and David DeLeon of Oceanside, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father; Ramon "Ray" DeLeon.

Visitation and Rosary will be Thursday, August 2, at 5:00pm at Mt. View Mortuary 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Mass will be on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 1:00pm at St. Catherine of Siena, 339 N. Sycamore Ave, Rialto. Followed by Interment at Mt. View Cemetery.
