Hi Daddy, Today is Dec 1st 2016 . Almost 2 years to the day you died.  I think about you every day, i pray to you every night. Ive had some ups and some downs since you left. The thing is, when i thought i couldn't do something on my own,  ive always called out to you for help, and whats funny is, youve always pulled me thru.  I miss you more today than ive ever missed you. It has not gotten easier, but i cope. I love you so much. Christmas was yours and mines favorite time. You always loved me in Red. To the family of George, 
George and I were Sophmores in High School together. The year was 1952, we became lifelong friends, he and my husband LaVerne went back farther than that, they played trumpet together until LaVerne graduated but George remained lifelong friends with us until his passing.  We loved his visits several times a year and when he married Betty we just loved her right off, and we had never seen George as happy as when they married, oh how he loved Betty and the family. then when Bo was a young man, George and he came to visit. What a wonderful visit that was. We had so many good times and laughter with the Garners. I am so sad that I won't be seeing my friend until the good Lord comes back, what a glorious reunion that day will be though. Until then good and faithful friend, rest in peace and then we will have a beautiful time with all of  our loved ones. To Georges beloved family, the next time we see our loved ones who have gone ahead, they will have glorious, renewed bodies with no sickness, oh how I look forward to that day. Rest dear George for a little while. Your friend forever, Freda Schlenker, LaVerne would have echoed these same words had he lived.

Dear Dad.  I was just watching some TV and  thinking about how much I miss you.  I had a few really great photos reproduced on canvas of us...which are now on my walls in my room. Dearest Dad, well, today is the day after your memorial service. Boy, was that ever sad. But I must say, you went out in a blaze of GLORY. Just as I knew you would have.  Pastor Smith was awesome, and Bo, Lorraine and Ray all went up and said some really nice things. Your friend Mike sang Amazing Grace, just as you had asked him.  He NAILED IT!  Sitting up there, listening to everyone talk about how wonderful you were was so touching.  Brother Bo hit my heart the hardest.  Bo and I loved you more than life itself, for you created both of us. So for that, again, Thank you.  Mom held up really well. She was magnificent. I lost it many times....I knew it was coming. guess I held it in too much. Anyway, at the Cemetary you were Honored by two very Handsome members of the U.S Army. They played taps for you and handed mom a flag, it was the most touching moment of all our lives. Something I shall never forget.  My friends were all there, the ones that counted the most.  Martha Mejia , Gus Soto, Marion Jehenes, Lena Raniada, Martha and Molly Torres, Mike Barbo, and Numerous others. All there to say farewell to the king of my heart, and their Friend, Father and Husband.  I will think of you everyday dad, and you will always be in my heart, I miss you so much,  lets keep our secret ok, and I'll see ya around. There is so much to say that I don't even know where to start... The first thing that I want to say is how very much I Love you and your Family and how very Blessed I feel to have known you and especially to have spent some time with you these last several months. I Thank God for the Kirby Co. because if it weren't for that Vacuum Cleaner Co. then we never would have met and I would have never met or become BFF's with your Beautiful Daughter Susan! You Always made me Laugh George, and Always had such a Positive & Wonderful outlook on Everything! You just shook your head when Sue & I got together because you knew that we were gonna be Silly & have the Best Time together! She Adored you George, as I Adored my Precious Papa. We used to talk about you both, especially when you were both sick, it was really hard, but we just leaned on each other and helped each other and cried and laughed together and like I promised you, we will Always be there for each other! I Thank God that I got to go visit you and talk with you and even share a bowl of sherbert ice cream with you & Betty! We laughed and had such a good time! I will Cherish those Memories with me Forever! I hope you have met my Dad in Heaven, and my Mom & niece Celia too. Please give them Big Hugs & Kisses for me too. Dear Dad. I wanted to say thank you for being such a great father. Although you were not my biological father,  I always thought of you as my Dad since day one. Thank you for giving you your daughter to me as my wife. She holds a lot of you in everything she does. She thought the moon rose and set in you, it was such a strong bond you two had. My Dad and I had the same, so I know the way she feels right now. Im glad the pain is all over. I will think of all of our good times we had offen. like the time you made me laugh so many times...remember the blanket story? Susan and I crack up everytime we remember that funny October afternoon.  Im sorry your gone too soon, but as we all know, we will meet again one day. What can I say about George (aka papa Georgio) that everybody doesn't already know. He was a kind, hard working man that loved and provided for his family. Georges greatest attribute was the love for his family. Raising six kids could not have been easy but,  hung in to guide and provide to the end. Certain things will always remind me of him, his love for mariachi music and the word wonderful. This word is not often spoken, but just the other day a lady I was talking to said wonderful and brought a smile to my face. These are few things I shall always remember.  Our time together was truly too short, but have grown to love you and will greatly missed. Until we meet again friend, you will be in my heart.

Dad, you were the best of the best. Everyone I know out here Knew about YOU!!! You were the ultimate Father to me and now you are in Heaven with all of our dearly departed. Dear Daddy.  I'm so happy you are with God now..and your body is new and healthy.  Thank you for being a part of me...for I hold almost everyone of your fantastic loves for life.  The memories of childhood till adulthood. ..All the fun times we shared...All  the laughs we had.
