My Dear Aunt Renee, It’s been over a week since you closed your eyes and yet my heart still can’t comprehend what my head knows to be true. Your loving, generous, caring soul will be forever missed. Eddie Rabbit has always made me think of you, and will always do so. Thank you for being a wonderful Aunt, always willing to open your home/arms/heart to everyone that had the pleasure of being in your company. But most of all thank you for being such a wonderful Big Sister to my Dad. Love, Nicole

I knew Irene only in the last few months, but her internal beauty shown throughout the time I was acquainted with her. The commitment to life I saw in her and her family was beautiful, and an example for others. Her passing leaves a large space that I pray will be filled with amazing memories and practices that continue her legacy into the future.
