She is preceded in death by her Husband Pete Zavala and is survived by her three children: Evelyn Zavala of San Bernardino, Peter Zavala (Sharon) of San Bernardino and Barbara Peralta (Augie) of San Bernardino, 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
Irene worked for Santa Fe Railroad in her earlier years where she met the love of her life Pete Zavala; married and became a homemaker. Irene was a funny, fast witted, generous and loving Mother and Grandmother. In her earlier years she loved to sew and embroider. She had a love for gardening, tending to her rose bushes and her plants. Irene’s favorite pass time was enjoying family dinners, BBQ’s, vacations and shopping on QVC. Most of all she loved being surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts.
Services will be held at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery on Monday, August 29, 2016. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Service at 11 a.m.
